
Meat Board and Cheese Dipping Sauce
INGREDIENTS
A selection of meat cuts to your liking. We like a mixture of beef steaks, hogget patties and venison steaks.
Our mini farmers also love some chicken legs!
Cheese Sauce
X1 Tub Mascarpone (250g)
Your favourite cheese (grated) – approx 50g – add to your liking
method
1, Cook your selection of meat cuts and allow to rest.
2, While your meat is resting add the mascarpone to a saucepan over a medium heat and allow to melt.
3, Drop in your cheese and stir well until melted and well combined.
4, Taste and add more cheese as necessary.
5, Carefully transfer into a dish to serve.
6, Carve your meat cuts, season with salt and arrange on a board with the cheese sauce.
Tips:
This recipe really is more of a meal idea than a recipe as you can make it differently every time with different meat cuts. This is our favourite way to eat as a family, simply pop in the middle of the table and let everyone dig in!
The cheese sauce is so versatile and works with all manner of cheeses. We like to use a smoked cheddar to give it a smoky flavour or why not try a strong blue such as stilton for something punchy. Or simple good old cheddar is perfect.
