BBQ Pulled Turkey Leg Sliders


The pulled meat from X1 Turkey Leg (See Pulled Turkey Leg Recipe)

250ml of your favourite BBQ sauce – we love the Smokey BBQ Sauce from The Cornish Larder (available in our shop)

X4 Brioche Burger Buns

X4 Handfuls of Rocket

X4 Slices of Smoked Cheese (I used the Applewood Smoked Cheddar)

Mayonnaise Skinny Fries and Coleslaw to Serve

X4 Cocktail Sticks


1, Place the pulled turkey meat into a saucepan and pour in the BBQ sauce. Mix well and allow to warm through gently. Stir regularly to avoid sticking and add a splash of stock or water to loosen as necessary.

2, Cut the brioche buns in half. Place the bottoms on a baking tray and set the tops to one side.

3, Place the BBQ turkey mixture on the bottom half of the buns. Leaving a little in the pan to use later.

4, Put one slice of cheese on top of each bun and BBQ turkey mixture.

5, Place the buns under a grill and grill until the cheese has melted.

6, Remove the baking tray from the grill.

7, Carefully spoon on the remaining BBQ turkey mixture on top of each slider.

8, Add a handful of rocket on top.

9, Put a spoon of mayonnaise on each brioche bun top then place the tops on each slider. Hold in place with a cocktail stick. 10, Serve with skinny fries and coleslaw.
