As a family we would like to say a huge thank you to all our fabulous customers and supporters. Over the last two weeks we have sold more beef than ever, ever, ever before.
Every last scrap of 4 whole bodies of beef has been sold. This includes all the meat, bones and offal. The net result was having to put a sold out sign in my fridge at 10.30am on Saturday morning at the Truro Farmer’s Market!
To be able to literally sell every piece of our beautiful homebred cattle from nose to tail including all the meat, bones and offal is unbelievable. People often ask us ‘What do you do with the fore quarter?’ Well our answer is we sell it! Yes we sometimes have to get creative with making our added value products and there will be far more of that over the coming months as we have just entered what we call ‘Beef On A Stick Season’!
It makes us beyond proud to see so many people enjoying our pastured beef both locally and across the UK ???????? . To think our beef is being eaten as far north as Glasgow and Edinburgh, as far East as Ipswich, as far South East as Canterbury just blows us away. Plus our brilliant contingent of Welsh customers! It is quite frankly bonkers and beyond anything we could ever have imagined when we started selling our beef direct to customer three years ago.
We couldn’t do it without our fabulous supporters who spread the word about our very small but mighty family farm.
