Back to beefing!!

After a much needed fabulous family holiday in Cape Verde we are excited to be back on the farm and back to ‘beefing’ for 2023.

We will now have our homebred, 100% grass fed shorthorn beef available fresh every week as follows;

🚛 Nationwide Delivery: Thursdays arriving before 1pm

🚜 Farm Collection and Farm Shop: Fridays 10am – 6pm

🧑‍🌾 Truro Farmer’s Market: Saturdays on Lemon Quay 9am – 4pm

This family holiday in January is our Christmas break of sorts. It is just so wonderful to spend a full week of solid family time with absolutely no time pressures!!

The mini farmer’s absolutely lived their best life, spending pretty much all day everyday in the swimming pool, only taking breaks for refreshments!

Will and I were able to have a jolly good rest and the constant supply of Pina Coladas and Mojitos certainly helped.

It’s a holiday of pure ‘laziness’ where we don’t venture far from the sun loungers but we heard about a lobster restaurant in the nearest town and Charlie’s ears pricked up. He has been dying to try lobster so we thought we would give it a go as a special treat. Flora was tickled pink that we all had to wear bibs, she just couldn’t believe it! It is safe to say the lobster went down a storm, both the mini farmers absolutely loved it! As you can see by the photo it was just a beautiful location overlooking the beach.

A break away always gives you time to reflect and time to plan for the rest of the year……And we certainly do have some plans for the coming months!
