From our family farm to your christmas table

Well what can I say….. Christmas 2021 was completely and utterly bonkers! We were totally blown away by the support for our family farm.
This year was our 6th year producing our beautiful birds. Never did we think it would be possible to produce 1400 turkeys, 100 geese and sell 2 whole bodies of our Shorthorn beef for Christmas.
Did you know that our birds are processed, plucked, dry aged, oven readied, butchered, packed and sold all onsite at the farm. Our Christmas processing begins at the end of November and then we are full steam ahead to our Christmas collection days finishing at 2pm on Christmas Eve.
This year we had a fantastic crew of ‘turkey elves’ who worked their socks off to help get all our orders ready. Without them all of this would simply not be possible.
We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who placed Christmas orders and hope that you enjoyed our meats on Christmas Day. It gives us so much joy to think of our produce being enjoyed by families both near and far.
To everyone who collected their birds from the farm we would like to say thank you for your patience, there were a few moments of gridlock on the roads but not to bad considering we had 900 cars pass through our farm over the two collection days!
As a very rough estimate if we said each turkey/goose made 10 individual meals (and I dare say most will have been more!) then this year our birds have made 15,000 meals!!
As a family we are now taking a few weeks ‘off’ (special meaning of taking time off with a farm to run!) to spend time with our mini farmers and for me to frankly sort our house out after Christmas chaos!!
Fresh beef will be back in stock the first week in February.
Happy New Year
