This week sees the end of the breeding season at Treway Farm as we remove the bulls from the two groups of cows. It only seems like yesterday that we put them out for the summer!

Lovely Logic and Neddy have been working hard for the last 12 weeks covering the cows.

In a couple of months we will ultrascan all the cows to see if they are in calf. Both the boys have been very keen so we are hopeful for a good scanning session!

Then we will meet the class of 2022 at the start of March. By only having the bulls running for 12 weeks it means that all the cows will calve within a 12 week window finishing at the end of May.

Logic and Neddy will now enjoy some down time until next Spring!
